Have a very Sufjan Christmas!

So I'm totally down with the holiday season this year. My boyfriend picked me up this splendid CD at Barnes and Nobles when i tragically revealed my dislike for Christmas music. I'm talking about "Sufjan Stevens Presents Songs for Christmas Singalong"!!!! It gave me the ability to enjoy the musical side of Christmas! Although i will point out that Sufjan's original carols are better than his remakes of the Christmas staples, which at times can be ruined with his folky twist. Some songs are better left alone. If you were to listen to one song from this CD to get a good idea of his Christmas-song-writing prowess, check out "Come on! Let's Boogey to the Elf Dance!". Its really upbeat and his lyrics are bound to make you smile. However, if you are looking for a more "Casimir Pulaski Day"-ish song, check out "That Was the Worst Christmas Ever"...which is a more depressing look at the holiday, because we all have had a shitty Christmas. Well, I've said my piece, So go buy it!!!!!! Did i mention its like 5 CD's for 20 something dollars? yeah, pretty legit.

Im in love with the art of this etsy seller: HidenSeek. The illustrations with the big bear and the little girl drew me in with their beautiful earth toned watercolor. They are a little pricey for me, as im saving up to buy clothes for my french adventure, but look how cute this mirror is, made from my favorite print!!!

I saw this cute little button ring on etsy, made by JustmeJewelry. I thought "Wow this would be so easy to make" So i thought i'd share with you guys. All you need is a button, a cheap ring (they sells bags of them at crafts stores for like 8 dollars) and a hot gluegun. There you go! but if you're really lazy, jut buy it off etsy.

fall skin? not so much
