Peony

Paeonia Suffruticosa is by far my favorite flower. An old myth says that shy little nymphs live in their petals..how cute! The flower was used during the Victorian times to communicate bashfulness. I wouldn't describe myself as a particularly bashful girl, but I love these ruffled flowers all the same. Aren't they lovely?
