OK so, im shamefully addicted to the WB series, Gossip Girl! I've just about maxed out my I tunes downloading episodes. I was shopping at this adorble boutique called Francesca's collections and i stubled upon a frock that looked like it was taken from the closet of Blair Waldorf herself. I had to buy it! What doesnt kill you makes you stronger...

So Ben made me eat tapioca pudding and i wanted to die. I was so scared of it......its just so unnatural. I never did like it as a child. But i was surprised to find it to be super yummy and i don't know WHAT i was thinking as a kid because that stuff is the shit. Yummmmmy! I'm going to look up some recipes with tapioca!

neglect...but i have a good reason!

Ok so i've been neglecting my blog and to those of you who know me this really shouldnt come as a suprise. but IM BACK! and I have things to say! I went to florida with my boyfriend and taught him how to surf. It was a great experience. I also went parasailing, again awesomness. And I thought of a little craft people could do whilst at the beach. Sometimes the shells you find laying around on the shore have perfectly round little holes drilled into them. Mom says this is from the creatures who are trying to get to the tasty inside of the shell. Anywhoo, they make a pretty tight necklace if you just string them up with some white dental floss. It looks badass and doesnt cost you anything which makes it about a billion times better than any lame hemp necklace you couldve spent way to much money on at a sounviner shop. You're welcome.

Almond toffee squares.

Soooo i made yummies for my French class today using a recipie i got off the back of the eagle brand condensed milk can. Use it, love it. OK so you need this shiz
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 can of condensed milk
1 1/4 stick of butter (one stick will work just fine though) and leave it out of the fridge for a bit to soften it up. It shouldnt be melted down though
6 heath bars all chopped up
1 cup sliced almonds
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 egg beaten
13X9 inch pan (well covered with a layer of pam or i guess butter would do too, anything to keep the melted toffee from sticking)

- hokay, so combine the butter, flour, and sugar and mush it up with the butter to make a crumbly texture. Pack it down in the bottom of the pammed up pan and cook it for 15 minutes on 350.

-while that cooks, combine the beaten egg, condesed milk, almond extract, almond slivers, and the chopped up heath bars. Mix this up well and once the cookie bottom is finished, take it out and spread the almond paste mixture thing on top.

-Pop is back into the oven and let it cook for 20 minutes or so until its lightly browned. WOOT!

Armenians...yeasshhh

So in honor of my Armenian friend, Aleen, I'm raising awarenesses of the Armenian Genocide. So right after the end of WWI, there was a systematic destruction of the Armenian population of the ottoman empire(now known as the republic of Turkey) by the Ottoman officials. It led to the death of over one and a half million Armenians and it the second most studied case of genocide. The republic of Turkey refuses to recognize this tragic attempt at exterminating a people as a genocide even though over 22 countries and 42 American states have recognized it. Im an idea whore

So i want to be clear and say that i am and uncreative person and BEN came up with cow-tunnels and pool hoping. I AM UNORIGINAL.

All my sons will be forced to watch The Godfather as a rite of passage into manhood and for them to be recognized as a contributing member to the family discussions. I mean it teaches them all they need to know....days of the week, how to make spaghetti, how to smoke a police chief, how to throw a slammin wedding, how not to get involved with drugs, and most importantly- the consequences of beating your wife.

My friend Olivia was wearing the cutest silk headband at school today. It was wrapped up and tied in a knot on top of her head. It struck me as very familiar....
